NERIN (Northern Eurasia Regional Information Network) http://www.fao.org/gtos/gofc-gold/networks.html is currently assembling information about the content, quality, condition, and other characteristics of data sets available to support new research in Northern Eurasia.

Searchable METADATA are available (http://wwwdata.forestry.oregonstate.edu/MDEDIT/index.aspx) and new contributions to the METADATA are welcome. NERIN is part of GOFC-GOLD http://www.fao.org/gtos/gofc-gold/overview.html and actively seeks metadata within the thematic scope of this program.
